Dave’s Press Inc. was established by Dr. David Perrin in 2000, when it published his first volume of veterinary adventures, Don’t Turn Your Back in the Barn. In 2001, the press released the second collection of stories, Dr. Dave’s Stallside Manner, and in 2003, the third book in the series, Where Does It Hurt?
    Dave’s Press allows Perrin to self-publish and thus maintain artistic and financial control of his projects. Currently in the developmental stages, the press is looking at branching out to publish works by other writers of non-fiction. As Perrin says, "Why would anyone want to make things up when real people live such intriguing lives?"
